Welcome to Dillsboro River Company! We offer rentals and guided trips on the Tuckaseegee River.

The Tuckaseegee River is a Class I-II whitewater river, offering a great activity for families and kids to enjoy a fun filled day on white water river. The Tuckaseegee River offers warmer water, than other rivers, which boast a diverse population of wildlife.

Our fleet of ducks (inflatable kayaks) sit-on-top kayaks, and rafts provide something for everyone can enjoy paddling.

From large custom groups of boy & girl scouts, camps, schools, and church groups to the individual family or couple our friendly staff and great facilities will meet your needs.

We offer just two guided trips a day and boast a guide to guest ratio of 1 guide to 10 guests. (the best on the river) This means there is a guide in every other boat. We also include a light snack on the river and show you the best swimming and fun spots on the river. Our guides are also well versed in the cultural and natural history of the diverse Tuckaseegee gorge.

To learn more about the wildlife in the Tuckaseegee River Gorge ask about our guide-assisted "Discover the Tuck" trips.

Depending on water levels trips average about two hours. All participants should wear adequate foot and sun protection while on the trip.
