April 2024: We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces in just a few short weeks! Some dates to keep in mind:
1. Sunday, April 28th Jackson County's Annual Bike Rodeo @ The Cullowhee Valley School 2-5pm (Enter a raffle to win a bike!!)
2. Saturday, May 18th West Fork Release (1st Scheduled Release for the season) * If river levels & staffing aligns we may be able to host you before 5/18, call or text to inquire :)
3. Sunday, May 19th Annual Can Food Drive to benefit United Christian Ministries * 10 cans per person gets you a self-guided rafting experience on 5/19 (no rainchecks)
The Tuckasegee River is dam controlled with an East Fork river release of 500 cfs and West Fork river release of 250 cfs. When planning your river adventures these are the best days to schedule.
