My husband and I decided we wanted to try something different from the usual Florida beaches and heat. We are so glad we decided to do that. We took our two girls, 12 and 13, and headed to Dillsboro River Company and the Airbnb on the property. AMAZING stay!!! We were able to get on the river 3 times, one guided tour on a raft the first day and individual kayaks the next two trips. Chase was a FANTASTIC guide and Clark was super helpful with helping us also. This river WAS perfect for us as novice whitewater folks. Some great rapids, but not so crazy that we could not handle or enjoy floating in certain areas and just taking in the view. Every staff member was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Every suggestion for the river and where to eat, visit, etc. was spot-on and Adam and Mary are so very knowledgeable and answered our questions and shared great tips the entire week. The stay was super and the space was perfect for our family of four. Enough space for all of us and a BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!! Honestly, this was our best family vacation ever and yes we live in Orlando area. But the nature, river, and mountains were just what we needed to connect as a family.
